Jointly held by Ningbo health bureau, youth league municipal party committee and federation of industry and commerce, red ribbon health kit “hundred schools entering thousand enterprises” activity started. Volunteers from three colleges such like University of Nottingham Ningbo distributed red ribbon health kit to workers of Guangbo Group. Till the end of this month, volunteers of these three colleges will go to local all kinds of large scale enterprise, promote AIDS prevention and treatment knowledge to workers, and distribute 3000 red ribbon health kits. Meanwhile, issue 3000 copies of questionnaire, and study on the situation of migrant workers how to prevent AIDS.  

With China’s population mobility is constantly increasing, immigrant workers group has become the focus group of AIDS prevention and control work. According to statistics, among HIV-infected persons in Ningbo, immigrant workers accounted for approximately 60%. Red ribbon health kit activity is launched by office of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the State Council AIDS Working Committee, being carried out throughout the country.
